    Bible Text: Acts 8:26-40 |

    Main Bible Passage: Acts 8:26-40

    Principle #1: Listen

V.26 “Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, Rise and go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. This is a desert place.”

    Principle #2: GO

V.27 “And he rose and went. And there was an Ethiopian, a eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure. He had to come to Jerusalem to worship.”

Philip had no excuses, he stopped everything and ministered to the Ethiopian Eunuch.

Philip was not a bench warmer. He said, Put me in the game coach!

    Matthew 28:19-20

    Principle #3: Observe

v.29 “And the Spirit said to Philip, Go over and join this Chariot.”

There are opportunities everyday for us to minister to people. We have to be willing to STOP and be obedient.

    Principle #4: Proclaim the Gospel

V.35 “Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture he told him the good news about Jesus.”

You might be the only Jesus people see. Share your story!

Principle #5: Trust in God’s Grace

v.39 “And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing.”
